Girls
Our girls' frosh-soph track and field team won the Orange County Track And Field Team Championship for the first time in school history last Saturday. To score points you must finish in the top eight, and the following frosh-soph girls did just that, and medaled in their respective event(s): Kylee Wehrly(100-2nd place, 200-4th, 4X 100-2nd), Makenna Duda(800-6th, 1600-3rd), Kayla Westman(300 Hurdles-4, 4X 100 Relay-2), Charlotte Gooseman(4X 100-2), Michela DeLuca(4x 100-2), Shaianne Symonette(Shot Put-6), Camdyn Roberts(Pole Vault-4), Julianna Kolk(Pole Vault-7), and Kiana Hada(Triple Jump-2). The triple jump was the last event of the day, and we trailed by 5 points in the team competition and Kiana was down to her last jump. Kiana leaped to a second place finish on her final jump, and we were the team champions.
Kudos to the entire team.
